Typical German household machine, the Allesschneider (everything cutter), a rotary knife with a sled and adjustable cutting thickness. Often used for slicing bread, meat, cheese and sausage. The sled with gripper plate means it doesn't get to cut fingers all that often.
This one is from the days when German quality earnt its name, all metal body, POM gears, strong motor, blade made by a specialist company in Solingen.
It lasted many decades (I couldn't figure out when it was made) before the gear stripped a few teeth.
Sadly no more spare parts in this size. Maybe the POM can be welded and recut?
The current model from the same company is a flimsy plastic contraption, although there are professional versions of these around for a lot more money.
