I've added the "Classic Parisian Café de la Régence Chess Set" to BambuLab's Makerworld.

Fullsize set: King is about 100 mm tall and 30 mm wide at the base. Pawn is 50 mm tall and 20 mm at the base.

I recommend using matte PLA. I've printed them with a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.16mm layer height. Resulting prints are in the photo's. A 0.2mm nozzle and even smaller layer height can be used for finer detail.
