I also proudly sometimes wear a t-shirt from #ChicagoPublicLibrary as a proud #InterlibraryLoan Librarian. Not only because we borrow a fair number of books from them remotely but also because it's a very cool t-shirt incorporating artwork from #Maus and expressing #solidarity with Freedom To Read.

The #ChicagoPublicLibrary was built both literally and figuratively on the ashes of the #TheGreatChicagoFire. The ground you're seeing there (☝️☝️☝️), along the lake, is made from the tons of debris and ash remaining after the Great Fire.

Huge urge to make a big #photography project where I go to each of the #ChicagoPublicLibrary branches in the city and take photographs of the exterior and some unique interior views and give background on the history and architecture of each building but not living in the city proper that means a huge undertaking of a project. But it’s absolutely a goal of mine.

I'm a huge nerd. I got super excited yesterday when I learned that CPL card gives me access to JSTOR (more specifically, articles that my personal account doesn't me access to).
