No hay alternativa a CopyQ

#CopyQ es un gestor del portapapeles con superpoderes, multiplataforma, agnóstico en cuanto al entorno de escritorio y tremendamente práctico:

Pensaba que era CopyQ el que no estaba preparado para dar su 100% en #Wayland, ¡pero no!... Es Wayland el que no está preparado para permitir que cualquier gestor de portapapeles inserte un elemento, elegido del historial, en la última ventana activa, como sí era posible en X11.

Si se usa Wayland, ahora son dos pasos (con cualquier gestor de portapapeles): elegir el elemento del historial y, además, ejecutar la acción de pegar (por combinación de teclas, menú o icono de la aplicación que recibirá el contenido).

Aunque ya me estoy resignando y reconozco algunas bondades de Wayland, esta "característica" no me gustó nada.

Se tem algo INDISPENSÁVEL no meu dia a dia é um gerenciador de área de transferência! Nunca mais ficar preocupado ou chateado com ter que procurar um programa fechado para fazer um control + c! Só leveza na mente. Bão demais. No PC uso o #CopyQ e no celular uso o do teclado Android #HeliBoard (F-Droid). Também recomendo esse teclado por outros motivos, então aproveite :blobBone_jump:

‹sigh›¹ Once again, for the third time in my two years of using #LinuxMint, a kernel update has changed things for the worse. My thirty-second boot has changed into a ninety-second one, where the machine starts up, then the screen goes blank and it thinks for awhile, then it spits out several lines of error messages, then it goes black again, then more error messages, then finally it gets to the login screen.

I've lost faith in the stability of the system, so I'll make sure everything is backed up, than do another clean install on a different M.2. Then it's clean installs twice a year (hopefully) and abso-bleeping-lutely no kernel updates allowed between releases.

Renuncié a la amargura de quitar emojos, aunque su carga es desesperante en interfaz web, desde apps como #Tusky es al instante, además, estoy armando mi set de emojos favoritos y más usados en una pestaña de #CopyQ, así que...

Ja raczej mysłalem o tym,ze kopiując ze strony jakis tekst, mozna skopiowac takze znak konca linii, ktory traktowany jest jako wcisnieniecie klawisza Enter, czyli akceptacja. Jak sie skopiuje komende typu #dd (linux), czy tez #fdisk, to jest szybka droga do utraty danych.
Ja kiedys skopiowalem ze strony komende dd. Na stronie bylo wszystko ok, za wyjatkiem identyfikatora dysku. Stwierdzilem, ze wkleje sobie do konsoli i na konsoli poprawie przed uruchmieniem komendy. Niestety, ale wklejac komende, wkleilem takze znak konca linii, czyli wklejajac tekst, jednoczesnie zaakceptowalem ta komende. Pech chcial, ze ten idenfifikator ze strony odpowiadal mojemu dyskowi, wiec uruchomilem komende, ktora nadpisywala moj dysk danymi z /dev/random chyba.

Jak ktos uzywa linuksa, to wie czym taka operacja sie skonczyla. Niestety, ale dosc szybkie zakonczenie tej komendy niewiele dalo i nie dalo sie odzyskac danych.

Zabezpieczeniem na tego typu niespodzianki pomagaja programy typu #CopyQ (na windowskie jest chyba #Ditto). Po skopiowaniu komendy, a przed wklejeniem, moge sobie taka komende zmodyfikowac we wbudowanym edytorze tekstu i juz bezpiecznie taka skopiowana komende wkleic na konsole bez obawy, ze sie natychmiast uruchomi, a nawet jesli, to utuchomienie nie zrobi krzywdy.

At the level I use the operating systems, #LinuxMint and #LMDE are functionally identical. Things no doubt differ at a deep level, but the deepest thing I do is paste the update command for #Calibre into the terminal.

Programs in the Software Managers have different versions, however. I use #CopyQ #ClipboardManager and #KDEKate #TextEditor. Linux Mint has CopyQ 6.0.1 and Kate 21.12.3, while LMDE has 6.4.0 and 22.12.3. Both have little annoyances in LMDE.
