Dear @CryptPad developers: this is NOT acceptable. Please tell me how to use a proper date format. ;-)

With moving my calendar away from Google I was looking for a Caldev solution, but ...
Interesting take on CalDev and encryption on Cryptpad's github page.
No chance that that will happen encrypted.
It's waiting for an solution in the Caldev protocol. 😇

@corafeita I'd like to have an easier (shorter, or more readable/memorable) way of sharing document URLs on #cryptpad, any tips?
#PalForm looks to do 99% of what I need but I thought I’d check out #CryptPad for the sake of thoroughness. I generally like it, except I keep encountering multiple unexpected failures, disconnects, and eventually my document is destroyed for some unknown reason. Very, very frustrating to say the least.
CryptPad supports a end-to-end encrypted calendar.
Google Calendar alternative.
The calendar is located in the user drop-down menu.

@madewulf I’m in the process of moving a client from Google Drive to #CryptPad and so far the experience has been very nice. One important difference: everything happens in the browser so there is no possible sync with local files, though manual uploads and downloads are of course possible. Would be happy to share more of my knowledge https://cryptpad.org
I need to create a form to collect data from an Arabic-speaking audience, and I need to respect the privacy of participants, so I #CryptPad.
Unfortunately (but also unsurprisingly), it doesn't support #rtl in the forms at all.
The developers are probably overwhelmed, and they've had RTL support on their road map for a while, but no support yet.

I'm really enjoying CryptPad's feature set. I'm probably not anything close to a power user, but it's been working really well so far.
We’re proud to see CryptPad technology powering the new Online Vault in Murena Workspace, part of the /e/OS 3.0 release.
It brings end-to-end encrypted file storage and real-time collaboration right into your phone. A big step for privacy that stays easy to use.
Built in Europe. Open source.
Just the way we like it.
👏 Thanks to the Murena team for making strong encryption accessible.

I don’t use forms except to survey my soccer team about upcoming seasons. Obv google’s is nice as it ports easily to sheets, but I want out.
Those w/ experience w/ #CryptPad, how is it? How would it work for my use case?
@realn2s it’s not a matter of paid service, but yes there could be a practical reason behind that.
Following the general advice I got here, I’m aiming at progressive improvement: I won’t question their workflow, I’m just gonna set up a shared password vault. Or maybe create #CryptPad accounts for all team members?
#CryptPad still has a few rough edges:
• opening a new window takes a lot of time, which becomes an issue if your browser likes to aggressively unload tabs (looking at you, #ZenBrowser);
• the Markdown editor lacks proper #LaTeX support. It’s possible to embed a #MathJax code block, but inline LaTeX is impossible;
• the UI is ugly. Especially in dark mode. It does not reflect the great quality of the project, and that’s sad.
Anyway, give CryptPad a try if you haven’t already!

OK, maybe it’s just the #Framadrive instance, but I think I’m done with #NextCloud. It’s been a week and I still can’t make it work decently for collaborative work.
[EDIT: my issues *are* related to Framadrive.]
So I’m giving #CryptPad a fresh try and OMG, everything just works! Immediately! It’s both (much) simpler and (much) more efficient, *and* it’s encrypted as a bonus (#E2EE).
The real-time collaboration is really impressive: reliable and snappy. Loving it.
