Some while ago, (and I think it was on Twitter) some American person explained to me that we #Australians were not really free because we were not allowed to possess #guns except under heavy restrictions.
He explained that America could never be overtaken by a #fascist or #Nazi regime because nearly everybody had a gun and would not stand for it.
The image of the brave minute men with their long rifled barrel hunting rifles who beat their English overlords to cement #freedom and #democracy for all forever comes to mind.
Then why the hell haven’t you done something about it? Why is #ICE still snatching people off the streets and out of their homes without a warrant or cause?
And most of you seem to be happy with that?
