Habt ihr vielleicht auch noch einige DVDs oder Blu-Rays herumliegen, die ihr gerne mal rippen möchtet? Ich habe bei mir z.B. noch eine ganze DVD-Box mit der MTV-Serie "8th & Ocean", die ich gerne auf den Computer übertragen möchte. Üblicherweise wählt man dazu unter Linux ein Programm namens Handbrake. Handbrake war mir persönlich aber immer schon zu überladen und daher habe ich in der Vergangenheit die Kommandozeile...

I need dvd ripping software suggestions. I had one that did ok when backing up my Walking With DVDs but Cats Don’t Dance and Gay Purr-ee, it only backed up the songs. @Starcade Everything #Netflix acquires will probably go behind their paywall. ☹️

Fortunately, there are #AltStreaming sites where I can see pretty much whatever I like w/o being forced to subscribe to any of the media giants who would be happy to have a monopoly on all of their content.

I just need to learn how to download & burn #DVDs from these sites.

The software is out there but I'm just too lazy to do it yet but will when there is no other way to add the films that I want to my collection.

I have a local script and documented in my private wiki, but the basics for streaming #DVDs from #OpenBSD to #iOS on my #iPad using #VLC is:
