Going by #exodusprivacy , the #dwd Warnwetter app has more trackers and requires more permissions.
Warnwetter is #afaik not #opensource, but a proprietary product. You can't get it eg. from #fdroid .
It requires you to pay a one-time-registration fee to get weather forecasts, the free version only covers the weather warnings.
Although Warnwetter isn`t bad at all, it is not a #floss app , but a proprietary product.
B.t.w., you can have a look at the project goals on the project homepage, if you are interested in this.
