Ok, first, I’m genuinely curious about this. Honestly, I’m not trolling. I toyed briefly with some version of *nix years ago (maybe 20 or so) but didn’t get it, or it didn’t get me, or something, and I’ve been content to let Apple do all the heavy lifting for me and my computers. That said, can someone explain to me why there are so many versions, or implementations of it? What’s the point of that? Feel free to #ExplainToMeLikeIm5 if you feel the need. (Yes, I know macOS is Linux-based.)
