Being a mod on /r/gnome reddit can be pretty entertaining. I have this person who was unhappy that a #gtk3 converted to a #libadwaita app. When I told him that software freedom is you have the ability to fork and maintain the gtk3 version yourself this is the response:

Hi @robert , thanks for #ReCast. It is great to see a tool for audio/video #transcription. We'd like to include it in the Awesome #GTK4 #GTK3 applications list [2]. Which category would ReCast best fit? The best category seems to be #SocialSciences as transcription is used in qualitative research [1], but the examples on the recast website suggest more general purpose. Which category would you choose?

Mastodon, j'en appelle à ta magie. J'ai quelques applications en gtk3 (dont l'émulateur Vice) sur mon MS-Windows 11 qui ne sont pas en thème sombre, contrairement au reste de l'interface.

GTK3 todavía no está extinguida (última versión estable, 3.24.43 (10/07/2024)) pero los de Rust decidieron que pa qué.

Nevím, jestli to je gtk3 nebo použité téma, ale tohle prostě nesnáším. Na obrazovce místa jako kráva, ale tenhle list o dvou (ano, celé dvě položky) se zobrazí takto zmršený. Ty dvě šipky tam jsou zcela zbytečné, překrývají polovinu každé položky a není vidět, co se v nabídce. Když pohnu kolečkem myši, tak systém zjistí, že tam toho více není, šipky zmizí a položky seznamu jsou konečně čitelné.

Now that #GIMP 3.0 is out, does anybody know how to get menu icons back? I already have this in my #GTK3 settings.ini (which does have an effect, see the l3afpad screenshots):
