Our alpine wildflower meadow at 1700 m is in full bloom.
Much of this steep terrain can’t be reached by tractor or mower so maintaining it still requires plenty of manual work. A slow, careful approach that rewards both biodiversity and resilience.

Over the last few years we have fertilised with well-rotted manure (almost compost quality). The result is very fine grasses and excellent hay quality.
