Hello. I am reaching out today in hopes to stimulate your compassion mechanism. I am
deeply in need of financial support. Being a disabled man living in poverty, it is incredibly
difficult to take care of yourself on a day-to-day basis when you have absolutely no support system and no financial abilities to do so. I desperately need to buy food and groceries, personal hygiene items, clothing, and if possible a new mattress so that I can actually get some sleep. I have posted numerous times for help. For some reason, most people ignore the fact that there are those of us in life that simply need financial assistance in order to obtain the basics in life to live. I suffer in constant pain. I have many health issues, one of which I am hypoglycemic, which means my blood sugar drops quite often, and I desperately need to maintain a healthy balanced diet, which is nearly impossible when you are living in poverty. But how do you weed out the people in need vs. the scammers among us? 🤔🤷

The answer is simple: Do not send money directly to that person. I am speaking as someone who once was one of those desperate people in need. And when you truly are in need, whether you pay the bills or someone else pays the bills does not matter so much as long as they are paid.

You can pay someone's rent, mortgage, property tax, water bill, and sewer bill without sending them money directly.

Go to the town’s website (for example, Boston, Massachusetts). Search a street, like Main Street, and you’ll see each property’s tax bill, water bill, and sewer bill. Anyone can make a payment — including you! ✅

The government doesn’t care who pays, only that it’s paid. Anyone can do it.

That means you can help someone, right now, without sending them cash. No middleman such as PayPal or GoFundMe. The money goes straight where it’s needed. 😉

As another day begins, the desperation continues to grow, from the lack of food and necessities to having clothing and a decent bed to sleep in, to being able to manage ones health, all the facets of life hang in the balance, and in the midst of the holiday season, this year has been another absent year of supply for this disabled man existing in poverty, and despite my pleas, the little help that has trickled in, as grateful as I am and will always be, has left me sour on humanity, for at the least $500 I need right now to buy food, would feed me for the month, but you see people really could careless to help those like me, and unlike some I am alone, I have no transit and no way to seek out help beyond these keys, everything I buy is delivered to me, but yet another holiday soon to be an alone with an empty plate and a bad taste of humanity, so many days begging all year, never even considered having good cheer, just to have the basics met but my dignity as a human has received not much respect, no turkey for me, no dressing to be, no pumpkin pie, no not a thing, and as the year has been a picture of what is to be, I can see right now there will be no Christmas for me, just more pain, suffering, struggling and despair, for the word is indifferent cold and barren when it comes to bring compassion to those in need;
