Seven weeks of exposure to such content in 2023 shifted users’ political opinions in a more conservative direction, particularly with regard to policy priorities, perceptions of the criminal investigations into Trump and views on the war in Ukraine.

Wobei es ja schon nicht nur um #Werbung, sondern auch um die Tatsache geht, dass in der Anonymität dieser "Räume" der vorwiegend #asozialenMedien #Influencing, #Mobbing, #sexuelleGewalt, #Verschwörung, #Manipulation, #Hass, #Hetze etc. Probleme sind, für die wir aus Gründen der #psychischeGesundheit gerade derer, die am Empfänglichsten dafür sind (#Kinder und #Jugendliche) und damit aus gesamtgesellschaftlicher Verantwortung und Eigeninteresse Lösungen brauchen, die diese Räume sicher(er) machen.
Dafür braucht es aber tatsächlich andere Maßnahmen als #Alterskontrolle, #Vorratsdatenspeicherung, anlasslose, lückenlose Überwachung, Generalverdacht wie #Palantir & Co.
Es bräuchte echte #Moderation, ohne #Zensur, aber mit #Löschpflicht und #Sanktionierung derer, die diese #Medien für o.g. Zwecke missbrauchen. Mir ist klar, dass das nicht trivial ist, weil auch freie Meinungsäußerung ein wichtiges Gut der #Demokratie ist. Abzuwägen, wo das eine anfängt und das andere aufhört, ist komplex und nie pauschal festlegbar.
Insofern, so lange es dafür keine tragfähige, funktionierende, flächendeckende Lösung gibt, kann zum Schutz von Schutzbefohlenen eine #Altersgrenze als direkt wirksame Maßnahme durchaus sinnvoll sein.

The imposition of 100% tariffs across the board in a few months will have a devastating effect on the U.S. (and probably world) economy. The people who will be hurt the most will be lower- and middle-income families, as they can't absorb such massive price increases.
That will probably result in an influx of new social media influencers and web marketers. The competition for attention and visibility will skyrocket as people desperately seek to supplement their incomes to offset the rising prices that will be triggered by the tariffs.

Really enjoyed today's workshop with university academics and researchers. Challenges and rewards in equal measure, not just for the participants but the facilitator as well. As well as the traditional roles/functions of managers and leaders, we explored what we can offer/role model as influencers. As someone who didn't do a degree, it is encouraging to reaffirm that I have something to offer/share with those who did and work in academia.
Once you know the landscape, then you can work on a plan: maybe you need to give more training, maybe you need a broader feedback funnel from DS consumers, maybe you need to align roadmaps, maybe you need better governance. As you implement the plan, you can see how your organization responds and gain fans that will help influence change. #DesignSystems #OrganizationalChange #Influencing #Feedback
