The term "fool" was demonized. Originally a fool was someone who not only entertained the courts and sovereign leaders. But, also mocked them. Held them accountable. Held the mirror up to society and made them see the error in their own ways in a playful way.

Leaders don't always have accountability. To many suppressive systems its deemed a threat. So now, fools are viewed as idiotic.

The demonization was deliberate.

In a world surrounded by tools, be a fool.

Only one #sourdough bread this month. I had a very stressful time sewing a #costume for a friend until christmas. It was a white #jester / fool / pierrot outfit and it turned out fabulous! Then christmas itself was one big stressful chunk and put me in need to spend more time outside by myself. Found a birds nest with bits of plastic as building material. Fittingly, a few days later on new years eve I found a dead bird in front of the house that died because of the fireworks.
