this #yarn is chaotic and really fun. i'm not sure what i'll end up doing with it, but it truly is #trans and almost #genderfluid flag colors in, technically, self striping. *(i think i was given the wrong label with this! i am investigating what it really is. will update if i figure it out.)

* okay i'm officially asking for help figuring out what yarn this is! it is chainette with a core inside. it is not a lightweight/hollow chainette -- the purple part is velvety and dense.

Belle galère pour la tresse au crochet avec le pouce et l’index de ma main gauche qui n'ont aucune sensation... pas facile de crocheter un fil et de lui donner la bonne tension quand on ne sait pas où il est.
J'ai trouvé des astuces, je m'en sors mais c'est fastidieux pour moi.

C'est neigée sur neigée. Ça tombe pendant vingt-quatre heures, ça se calme un peu et ça reprend aussitôt. Un temps idéal pour commencer au coin du feu le vingtième socks madness. Le premier pour moi. Le patron du tour de qualification est tombé hier soir. C'est parti !

A swathe of red knitted fabric - 4 inches of 2x2 ribbing at the bottom, 2 inches of stockinette at the top. Live stitches on a needle and part of a human thumb at the tippy top of the image.

First attempt at a machine-knit shaped colourwork crown was... well, let's just say I'm glad I'd already considered this to be a prototype hat before I got started. I think a pompom will fix it, though :)

My very first ball of 2ply. It is over twisted, under twisted, and pretty much all the other things, but I’m still very proud of it. It’s a Leicester cross breed fleece, spun in the grease then washed post ply.
