He hated Asians so much that he publicly refused to apologize for having used blatant anti-Asian racial slurs. Having the nuclear-codes "football" in his possession would have frightened me far more than the #Trump #dictatorship does. A confrontation between the #USA and #China with #McCain as President could very easily have escalated to nuclear war.

None of this really mattered as long as he was only a Senator, and his public political positions were indeed more enlightened (relatively speaking) than those of most Republican politicians. But watching him run for President was terrifying. I voted for #Obama in 2008, NOT because I trusted him, but because I wanted to stop #McCain.
