Believe me when I say I love #Openstreetmap, but damn do I hate relations and all debates about them. A contributive project should never be a pain to contribute to. Please stop splitting roads and roundabouts just to suit the preferences of stupid routers. Displaying out-of-dates bus routes shouldn't be prioritized over simple schemas which even newcomers can contribute to.

Since my bank account just reminded me:

OpenStreetMap is one of the cornerstones of the open web and since big corps do as big corps do OSM relies on those of us who are able to give a little of our disposable income.

I use a #Librem5 as my daily phone:

- Full device disk encryption with #LUKS
- #PureMaps for navigation. GNOME Maps for looking, searching on a map. Both #OpenStreetMap based.
- WiFi just works
- In the past I used Mullvad VPN, but recently not tested any more.
- Synchronization via ssh/scp. I could very probably also use Nextcloud client, but did not test that.
- Signal Desktop
- #Fractal for #Matrix
- I use vim (mostly over ssh)

TIL that Google publishes statistics on website metrics collected by Google Chrome.

On https://treo.sh you can view beautiful statistics on any popular website, including #OpenStreetMap

For example, you can find out that more than half of users with Chrome use a phone. And every summer the share of mobile devices increases.

Every now and then I go "wondering why is this building mapped so off...".
In most of those cases it's somebody mapping it back in 2011 or so, probably from imagery that had a few pixels for that building.
It's even mapped remarkably well, given that it's untouched for 15 years :)

Comment on fait pour ajouter un passage piéton (facile jpense) et un chemin (difficile?) sur OpenStreetMap?

On les voit pas depuis le ciel à cause des arbres, donc j’imagine qu’il faut se rendre sur place pour prendre les coordonnées exactes et pouvoir les ajouter proprement?
