<p>When something’s not working right, one of the most common and effective solutions is to restart your Mac. What happens next is the Mac shuts down and immediately restarts, going through the full boot process. That’s not quite the same as shutting down, leaving your Mac a minute or so, then starting up, what’s sometimes referred to as a <em>cold boot.</em> But neither of those may be necessary, as it may be just as effective to log out and log back in again.</p>
<p>Whether logging out might help is determined by the processes it would restart, something you can see in Activity Monitor. In its <strong>View</strong> menu select the <strong>My Processes</strong> command, switch to the <strong>CPU</strong> view and order those by <strong>% CPU</strong>. Those are being run on your behalf, with you as the user, they should be closed when you log out and started up again when you log back in. Change the <strong>View</strong> to <strong>All Processes</strong>, then order the list by <strong>User</strong>, and you’ll see that the majority of processes running are yours. If you need to restart processes running as root, or the likes of _windowserver, then only a restart will help.</p>
<p>This can sometimes fix problems with WindowServer, even though it isn’t normally shut down when you log out, neither is the troublemaker <code>cfprefsd</code>. Contrary to what you might expect, some user processes continue running uninterrupted even after you’ve

Une chose vraiment très intéressante dans les transports en commun pragois est l’application pour smartphone (« pid ») pour acheter des tickets.
Une fois téléchargée, il est très simple d’acheter, au coup par coup ou par avance, différents tickets (selon l’âge et selon la durée d’utilisation : 30 ou 90 minutes puis 24 ou 72 heures).
On active les tickets immédiatement lors de l’achat ou manuellement en montant dans le transport.
Ainsi, nous avons parcouru la ville dans tous les sens, surtout en tramway tant celui-ci est agréables et sillonne la ville de part en part.
Un jour, nous avons pris plus qu’habituellement les transports. En rentrant le soir, je vois que mon dernier achat de tickets avait été annulé. Je m’en inquiète pensant à un bug et ne sachant, pour les jours suivants, comment me justifier en cas de contrôle.
En fait, non. Nous avions, pris dans la journée « trop » de tickets à l’unité de 30 minutes et cela dépassait l’achat équivalent d’un forfait de 24 heures.
Ainsi, automatiquement, nous basculions sur un forfait de 24 heures, sinon, nous aurions « trop » payé !
Connaissez-vous d’autres services de ce genre ? Des services qui soient favorables aux voyageurs ?

В статье представлена модель управления температурой и давлением на примере промышленного горизонтального автоклава периодического действия, используемого в индустрии по производству кормов для домашних животных. Цель публикации — демонстрация методов оптимального управления ( LQR ) и стохастической фильтрации ( LQG/Kalman Filter ) для решения задачи точного поддержания режима в условиях взаимосвязи физических параметров (температура и давление в замкнутом объеме) и зашумленных измерений. Проект реализован на языке Python в парадигме Model-Based Design , разделяющей физику процесса, модель управления и среду моделирования. Он включает постановку задачи, описание решения и его программную реализацию в виде python-пакета, адаптированного для работы в Google Colab. Среда автоматически сохраняет все артефакты каждого цикла моделирования — конфигурацию и результаты. Такой подход позволяет начать с практики моделирования (симуляции), чтобы затем с большим пониманием перейти к изучению теории, потенциально снижая порог входа в проблематику оптимального управления. Модульная архитектура делает проект относительно универсальным шаблоном: заменив модель объекта, этот же каркас можно адаптировать для решения других задач MIMO -управления с той же размерностью. Будь то стабилизация мобильного робота (скорость/угол поворота) или управление полетом (тангаж/горизонтальная скорость).

Two Screenshots (one above the other) from the Season 1 Episode 14 (The Bottomless Pit) of Gravity Falls. In the first picture we see Grunkle Stan, Soos, Dipper and Mabel standing around the Bottomless Pit which Stan introduces in the scene. But on the signpost I changed the T of Pit into a D (thank you MS Paint) so that it states Botttomless PID. In the second picture Mabel, Dipper an Soos look into the dark pit. And see the Open Science Circle as depicted here on the TIB Website for the PID-Competence-Center-Project (https://projects.tib.eu/pid-service/persistent-identifiers/persistent-identifiers-pids/) which I inserted into the Bottomless Pit (again thank you MS Paint).
