This is a black and white street photo in landscape format of a Chinese woman cycling with a huge load of plastic and cardboard grocery boxes. Beijing, PRC (2012).

The foreground is filled with a grey city street that stretches diagonally across the frame. On the far side is a pavement with low, about 1m high, plastic barrier lining the walkway. Behind the pavement is a tall white wall topped with white Chinese characters on a black background running the length of the wall. Near the top right corner are 3 pedestrians walking from right to left and slightly blurred out of focus. In the centre of the image is our lady cycling a rickshaw, from right to left and though the third wheel is not visible and it has the appearance of a 2 wheel bike. Attached to the rickshaw is what must be a hundred or more plastic and cardboard supermarket grocery boxes. 5 columns across that are 6 tall x 3 rows plus 8 more on her left side and a further 42 smaller cardboard boxes on her right. The load is lashed together randomly with ropes in such a way that would make a sailor cry in despair. So added up: thats 98 plastic boxes plus 42 cardboard, equals 140 boxes in total. In the time I watched her, I never saw or heard any of the boxes fall off!
