#Plasticity v25.1.0 is out
This is an huge update with a new UI more simple to use and a lot of new features.

Is an incredible improvement on usability side and features. #CAD #linux #parasolid #artist
ICAD (#CorporateHistory: ICAD, Inc., Concentra (name change at #IPO in 1995), KTI (name change in 1998), #DassaultSystèmes (purchase in 2001) is a #knowledgebasedEngineering (KBE) system that enables users to encode design knowledge using a semantic representation that can be evaluated for #Parasolid output. ICAD has an open architecture that can utilize all the power and flexibility of the underlying language.
#Plasticity3D with #xnurbs solve surfaces as magic. #CAD #parasolid
Now in Plasticity beta you can add your custom matcaps, but this is only the tip of many new features recently added. #CAD #Linux #parasolid
Mark my words: the tempting approach to wrap the #ParaSolid kernel like this is not a sustainable way forward. One problem: X11 will be removed in the next few years from a number of distros. But this is a Linux issue. More importantly: the approach to screen scrape the WebGL into the UI in Electron will limit #plasticity to smaller projects. Instead of using CPU cycles for simulations and constraint solving it will be busy shuffling pixels around. Not a good use of compute power.
The new edit CVs feature of surfaces in #Plasticity3D is a game changer, now some alignments tools and I'm fine. #CAD #Linux #Parasolid
Took to me hours to make this deck exterior shape., now I think is near perfections, next step, bevels and minor details #CAD #Plasticity it's very good the result is predictable and controllable. #parasolid

#Parasolid history its begun 70 years ago! What??? What WTF? this statement is wrong and this isn't the year but the version :) Romulus was released 1978 and its impossible, maybe studies begun years before #Unigraphics #NX #CAD Parasolid the core of many CADs and also of #Plasticity
I knew #Parasolid was old but not that he was that old, here in this video it say it's begun in 1963 🤯 it's old 60 years, the core of #Plasticity

#Plasticity has now custom colors for the curves.. #plasticity3d😍 Nick a monster developer, every days bugs fixes and new features. #CAD #parasolid
One thing is for sure, there are many #CAD programs that use ##Parasolid, but I have never ever seen complex surfaces modeling done with that applications like what I see done with #Plasticity, only in #NX I see something complex.
Anyway sorry to say but #ZW3D sucks at importing #CAD files from other programs, it doesn't import anything correctly even simple surfaces, it fails with #IGES #STEP #Parasolid.
paying $4,000 without being able to communicate with other programs is unacceptable.
I can't keep up with #plasticity's development. #CAD Best buy of the year! #plasticity3d #parasolid
The new version of #Plasticity 3D is out, it already has a lot of new features and it has only been a little over 1 month since the official release Nick is very fast in adding new features and the development is continuing quickly, To those who have not yet purchased the Studio version I recommend do it because it deserves. #CAD #Linux #parasolid

It's out #Plasticity the most powerful #Linux #CAD application for CAD modelling available has a fast workflow with direct modelling close to #Blender behavior and much more important thing is based on #Parasolid kernel the same Kernel of #Siemens #NX
The challenge Moi3D vs #Plasticity it's begun #Moi3D now has an initial support for #ACIS geometric Kernel, but Plasticity has #Parasolid, is #Dassault vs #Siemens #CAD
Another critical situation, easily resolved with #Plasticity's patch command of powered with #Parasolid and that matters! #CAD
I had used #Parasolid for work and knew it was a great kernel for a long time, but it wasn't as simple to use as this one,
fast test with hull.
This hull was made by importing the curves and lofting them, and the others made internally with Plasticity. #boat #design #CAD #hull
