Something from phone again, from last Thursday, as I was waiting to go to the clinic. Shot with my Huawei in RAW and edited in PS. I like this spot in the house, specifically in the morning; it is in the direction of the East and light seeps through while, typically, the lights are switched off during that time, making a moody atmosphere.
I guess I'll be shooting more with my phone in the upcoming days!

So, as I was about to prepare something from the archives, some "needed luck" appeared out of nowhere with this little fella in the yard. Initial identification yielded Sesuvium portulacastrum (shoreline purslane, sea purslane; Tagalog: dampalit; 中文: 海馬齒 / 海马齿; Arabic: الرِّجلة الساحلية).
Here's a funny story for you: I glanced this as I was checking few things in the yard, and I realized it's a new comer. I snapped it quickly with my phone; 10-15 minutes later I came back with my Canon and 100mm macro lens to snap it, but couldn't find it whatsoever! The flower is so small (the size of my thumbnail if not smaller) and under the sun it was so hard to notice. Not until later (maybe 1 or 2 hours afterward) I did find it again and shot it up-close and personal.
The shot here is a crop of the original image from my phone - and it was a great deal of a crop; I won't be exaggerating if I say that I've removed 90~95% of the image here just to focus on this little dude.
Of course color correction was due because it was tinted green by the shade in the yard.

I was going to post another selfie for today, but it just happened that I've made this shot yesterday in the morning. It was shot with my Huawei and in RAW.
This flower (which I called "Maggie" from Magenta, because I don't know its common or scientific name) is one of the hardest to shoot, for me. For a) The tone of the color always makes a problem for me whether in phone camera or DSLR, and b) It closes by night (or almost disappears) and must be shot during the day under the sun (and working under the sun is always hard, specially if for macro). Anyway, I managed to shoot it with DSLR handheld and in "simple" macro, which I might be posting later (still processing the images).

Ta da! 3D Saturday is here! Shot this one yesterday (or the day before) with my phone. It is official now that this plant with yellow flowers is actually mustard; At least this is what Google says.
Generally, the depth (or illusion of depth) is good, but for some reason I'm not sure of, the bottom part of the image is a bit ghosty probably and can't be seen easily. Go get your glasses 🔵🔴 now!

The Gentle Spikes;
Something on the side. Shot this yesterday on my Huawei in RAW, and honestly, I was aiming for that flower, but it turned out blurry and the spikes were sharp. So, to save the image I've cropped it (a big chunk of it) and rotated the image, with some additional touch-ups. Glad though I could get such a close-up with the phone (with the help of the crop). However, I need to work fast and shoot these in macro with my Canon before it's all POOF! gone...

Stormy, rainy weather these days. Full moon, last #supermoon of the year, they said. A break in the #clouds, and I pushed the phone as best as I could, looking for a #composition (it can't tele-zoom into the moon like a camera with a big lens). Every shot I tried, the phone prompt was, 'Hold phone still', because it's a low-light night-shot, to avoid the blur.
This is the best I could manage.

Rise; Shot this few days ago with my phone in RAW and processed in PS. Bougainvillea branches are back to life with winter coming in here; out winter is actually just like spring for others, sort of. I liked this solo branch against the yellow wall, but I had to do some heavy color correction because it was all tinted green because of the shade in the yard.
