I think the flower is a Senecio vulgaris, commonly known as Common Groundsel.

So, I just had this urge yesterday to shoot in infrared since I didn't do so for a while, and decided to use my 35mm lens (relatively new and not used much). I made some random trials in the yard and didn't come up with much but decided to work on this single shot.
Actually it is not a single per se, but focus-stacked. I've cropped the final image at 47:20 (or 2.35:1), something I rarely do. This is a "cinemascope" (I think) aspect ratio and just wanted to see how it would look.

3D Saturday is here!
So, with my recent busy schedule and health issues, I've managed to snap few shots with my phone, and here is one of them, taken last Thursday in the yard. The green cast (from the shade) makes it hard to discern the depth, but in other areas of the image, the depth can be perceived well (at least to my own eyes).
It's nice to see few petals here and there for the bougainvillea at this time of the year in our yard. Typically, they would all be gone (along with the green) by May.

It’s clearing plumeria bloom season as another has started! This is the classic plumeria bloom that makes me think of Hawaii. It’s the one my kids would buy as hair clips at ABC stores.
