Decided to try out the Pyritus Tournament eith my Lv 32-38 Pokemon in #PokemonColosseum and it's a surprise I made it into the finale against level 50 enemies o.O
Did gain some levelups and lost no money, so not too bad. Just. Yikes.

Colosseum is just not telling you what level enemies to expect.
And I'll definitely hit mount duel again to train some pokemon since some rematches are already at level 40ish and my fire slug jeeps getting knocked out turn one before acting ...
I could switch it out for tge fire starter I caught in Phenac, but I kinda don't want to, because starter Pokemon are too safe bets and always strong.
But if that slug can't compete I see myself having no choice x_x

Huzzah! Defeated Drakim, one of the early Teak Crypto bosses, hanging out at the Duel Mountain on my first try and caught his entei without too much trouble.

I did, however, spend all my 50hp potions and revives and onr of my 200hp potions and pretty much got all my Pokémon KO'd at least once.
But umbreon and Espeon, expectedly came in clutch.
And my "confuse Entei" gambit worked out perfectly, sparing me a good chunk of damage while also taking awqy a decent amount of Enteis health, without knocking it out.
All in all a pretty exciting battle!

Right in the nostalgia. Espeon + Umbreon as starters and kicking ass in the Arizona desert (Orre) to this theme was chef’s kiss!

I’d love to see Pokémon Colosseum remade or remastered one of these days. As a Johtoker who wasn’t the most impressed with Ruby and Sapphire, this game felt like a love letter to me.
