As a #MilitaryAgeMale #American, I have lots of experience condemning terrorists because I was viewed by my own people and state as an enemy combatant.

There is a rich history in this country of viewing certain bodies as implicit threats.

In fact, I have so much experience, it developed my worldview of #RadicalHumanism.

Terrorists hate it.

Turns out the feeling is mutual.

Puritanism is antihuman.

I think Giridharadas is making the case for a human-centric, holistic and universal strategy.

In my opinion, the objectives of fascists and their Fellow Travelers™ are to:
- persuade us to compartmentalize traumas
- inflict cruelty by normalizing physical and psychological violence
