Seit heute früh geht bei meinem Raspi der Lüfter alle 30 Sekunden an und rappelt erbärmlichst. Als ob der nen Schaden im Lager hätte oder so.
Na ja, ich hab kurzen Prozess gemacht und mir ein anderes Gehäuse mit Passivkühlung bestellt. Hab gar keine Lust, mich mit dem Mist herumzuärgern. Das Pihole alleine braucht die Leistung eines Raspi 5 nicht wirklich, da reicht auch passive Kühlung.
Trotzdem seltsam. Vielleicht ergibt sich ja irgendwas beim Umbau.

I’ve been looking for a portable computer; my gaming laptop doesn’t leave the house, it cost a small fortune and I can’t afford to replace it anytime soon; my iPad Air is fine for the most part but it ain’t no PC.
I would love a Framework laptop, but they still aren’t available in my region. This might just be a great alternative 🤔

Then I got "SDRAM Failure" on UART (8 LED blinks). Reballed, fixed.
Nowhere near being done though 😂

Tested:
- Clean Pi OS (Robot was running Ubuntu 22)
- other I2C sensors
The Pi5 works great otherwise, SPI, cooler, RTC, WiFi all work. Just stock I2C failed.
Back filling with a Pi4 was the easiest to get robot "Kilted Dave" to stop crying. (Kilted Dave runs ROS 2 Kilted Kaiju.)
@in_sympathy Have you seen any Pi5 that lost I2C functionality after working fine for a long time?
On of my Pi5 robots used I2C to read a volt/amps sensor several times a second, but started crying one day. I had to revert him to a Pi4 since I didn’t have a spare Pi5.
Pretty cool you understand enough to repair a Pi in this “replace it” world.

Ne yazık ki ekran çıkışı berbat derecede karanlık olduğu için bu masaüstü bilgisayarımda bir şey yapamıyorum!
Bu ikisi yakın zamana kadar Raspberry Pi OS yüklü Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB)'te çalışıyordu!
Pi-Apps mi bozuk, ayrıca mı kendim kursam, yoksa Pi-Apps'de düzelmesini mi beklesem bilemiyorum!

Program kurmak değil de "uninstall" ile Linux'ta bir programı tamamen kaldıramama sorunu yüzünden Pi-Apps ile kurmak iyi oluyor. Çünkü o tamamen kaldırabiliyor!
Daha önce -muhtemelen benim linux cahili olmamdan ötürü- maalesef birkaç programı tamamen kaldıramadığım için temkinli olmayı seçiyorum.

Not that I'd do that as it is still less powerful, especially weaker than the Rockchip boards. Good to have a PCIx lane though. The fancier part of this hat is the two slot option for the SSD. Still building and not powered on yet. I hope that I've attached the flex cable between the hat and Pi correctly
