i wonder if a kind person might help me understand the label on this really, really lovely tasting tin of 'red tea'? (type of oolong?)
i'm also looking for foss image to text converters, and some know-how to run them with python or whatever. unfortunately, there seems to be nothing for android in f-droid / neo store.

I’m always wanting the best #earlgrey I just love the stuff. I happen to have some really good #chinese #redtea. So I decided I’m going to make some top shelf earl grey. I have some bergamot essence already. Just ordered some #cornflowers to add to the tea. Not sure if this is sacrillege but I can’t wait to try it out. Yeah, I like #tea

2023 Azure Spring Yunnan Sun Dried Ancient Tree Black Tea is from a Taiwan based producer via Mud and Leaves. Less aggressive than I expected, quite mellow dark stone fruit flavor, but with strong, fast energy. Zip, zap, zoom!

Oolong or black tea? Somewhere in between? I always enjoy DalunShan Red High Mountain Oolong no matter how you classify it.
DalunShan Red High Mountain Oolong from Mud and Leaves. As I have mentioned before, I always find Taiwanese red oolongs (and Taiwanese red/black teas generally) to be comfort teas. They are easy to brew with their low astringency and bitterness. Nearly impossible to oversteep, I often brew them quasi-gongfu with an in mug filter. Here, I am brewing in a stoneware pot.
Back home, back on my usual shit. DalunShan Red High Mountain Oolong from Mud and Leaves. Re-Entry Blues.

Taiwanese red oolong are some of my favorite teas in general, but they are particularly good for travelling. It is almost impossible to brew them badly. DalunShan Red High Mountain Oolong from Mud and Leaves.
After a few days of hotel tea packet dust and watery diner iced tea, nice to be back to actual tea. DalunShan Red High Mountain Oolong from Mud and Leaves.

Imperial Pure Bud Yunnan Black Tea of Simao is another tongue twister of a tea from Yunnan Sourcing. Fortunately, it is a very pleasant and well priced malty black tea that they make pretty much every year.
