@bloor I don't rate drivers at all unless I can honestly give them 5 stars since I discovered through Instacart that 4-star reviews were considered "bad."

Interestingly, a contract medical transport driver no-showed me to collect a fee without ever attempting to pick me up. It took a supervisor to get that off my record.

🤔 When I was actually a teenager I hitchhiked a lot. Lots of people did. Friends hitchhiked. Some hitched through Europe. I picked up hitchhikers.

I last hitched a ride 15-20y ago, & that was very unusual. I don't think I've seen a hitchhiker in a decade or more. 🤷

Sydney Airport taxis are back to the shitfuckery from the pre Uber days. Just stood waiting for 25 minutes while Uber and Didi apps both tell me it's "busier than usual" (maybe 1 car a minute through the Priority Pickup) and that they'll have a ride for me in 2 minutes.

Walked out of the airport and had a car in 2 minutes. $18 vs the $32 quoted at Priority Pickup.
