Man, #Lyft has started to just straight up bait-and-switch now. Ride from the airport was advertised as $26 (and card was authed for that price), got home, rated the driver, and found I was charged $36 instead.
The only clue was a pop-up for a fraction of a second about a promotion being removed because my card wasn't eligible for it (?) that I couldn't tap because it disappeared too quickly. No evidence of the discount ever existing except the initial charge was lower than the final price despite no route changes. Lyft support insists the price has always been $36 and has no record of the discount that was apparently removed. They asked for a screenshot as proof, which of course I don't have.
Guess I'll be taking screenshots before my rides from now on! Like taking package opening videos when buying from AliExpress.

@Kaliah @ladyhope @alexhall That’s one of the many reasons why I have never relied on dictation. I’ve seen way too many dictation errors (I call them dictos) that are unintentionally hilarious and/or embarrassing. My personal favorite was the time when dictation interpreted #Uber and #Lyft as goober and left. I’m very conscious of what I write, and I want it to be punctually and grammatically correct, not to mention spelled correctly. I never want to send the equivalent of goober and left out in the world.

I'm not a Luddite but I am one of those who say they'll never use an #AutomomousVehicle or #SelfDrivingCar no matter how safe they say they are.
There are other options & if I need to get somewhere & I can't use my own car to do so, I'll #Walk and/or take #PublicTransit and/or #RideSharing and/or #Uber or #Lyft instead. 🤷♂️

Lyft Silver is a new account type that, like Women+ Connect (aimed at women and nonbinary passengers), makes it simpler and safer to hail a ride and get support when needed.
"Lyft Silver has several features to make rideshare services more accessible to older adults. With a Lyft Silver account, users will see a redesigned version of the app with larger fonts and simpler navigation. Without any apparent warning #bikeshare replaced (probably months ago) a station with one that does not appear to accept a key fob. Probably more than one. I hope they undo that mistake. This adds one more reason to for me to be unhappy w/ #lyft
