Week 2024.7-2024.10
Normally I would have posted for the past three weeks, but I've been in a whirlwind of health issues. Week 7 started by catching the flu that knocked me out for two days. I was prescribed Tamiflu and got better after 5 days. However 2 days later I had a swelling in my ankle. After going to urgent care and PCP, I've decided to go to the Emergency Department.
After delays getting an MRI scan, it was found I had an infection (MSSA) that was concentrated on my ankle, an abscess. Had surgery to drain it out. Wound left open for a day to make sure all of it is out. Finally got it stitched today. It's going to be a long recovery before going back to regular programming. 🏃👨💻🍜
Setbacks happen, but a well learned experience, good friends, and a positive mindset is helping get through this. Thanks for the visit and well wish!
Also in between sickness, for Valentine's Day we tried "Hunt a killer". Worth playing if you like murder documentaries.
