The question then becomes what is the distribution of those who are at the intersection because of fear or ideology.
As for the set #Palestinians minus #Hamas, remember that there is a set of #Israelis minus #Likud too.

The only way #Palestinians can redeem themselves is by dissociating themselves from #Hamas, and instead of letting Hamas fight #inTheirName, declare their own #inOurName manifesto just as forcefully.

My ire is directed toward adults who fail to learn from history and keep repeating the same mistakes, like children who throw tantrums when they can't get what they want and are unwilling to alter their behavior so that they CAN get what they want.
Regardless of propaganda, they need to learn that terrorism is tantamount to throwing tantrums and grownups will not give in to those.

Impetus for #Kitchener's desire to "capture #Islam" in #MiddleEast in #WWI was rooted in his inability to understand that #societiesAreNotHomogenous.
There was a time when Britain ruled over half of world's #muslims in #Africa & #India, and Kitchener believed Islam as a homogenous, single centralized entity controlled by the #Caliph — #Mohammad's successor.
This perception probably grew out of the fact that #Turkish #Sultan had immense sway over muslims far away in India.
