Schöner Vergleich:
Je eine frische Installation von Solus OS KDE (Linux) und Windows 11 auf einem identischen PC.

Während unter Solus bereits produktiv gearbeitet (und gespielt) wird, lässt sich Windows 11 noch viel Zeit mit dem Boot- und Konfigurationsprozess.

Edit: Das finde ich schon echt lachhaft:

Thanks for all of the input on Linux distros! I decided to go with Bazzite for now. I know it's not #CachyOS or #solusos but I tried Solus Budgie and had a few issues with it, such as inconsistent theming and small text that was uncomfortable to read. #Bazzite has been great so far and it's immutable, I've been wanting to try an immutable option for a while, and it's been working out well!

En mi PC de escritorio y de apoyo. #solusOS con escritorio plasma, una distribución independiente que para ser sincero en esta pc un poco antigua me da un buen desempeño. La puse en modo vertical para poder tener mayor facilidad a la hora de leer papers y páginas web.

I'm running CachyOS at the moment, thinking about switching back to solusOS. They've had their problems in the past but seems to be in a solid place. Any thoughts? #solusos #linux #linux_gaming #solusprojectos

Wie gut #solusos und #postmarkedos auf mein alten Notebook läuft ist schon erstaunlich. Was ich mittlerweile an #gnome schätze ist die tolle Gesten Unterstützung und die Gnome Circle Apps.
Wirkt alles wie aus einen Guss, sowas mag ich eben😉

Found out recently that in optimus nvidia laptops you can set env variables to load software in the discrete graphics card. Took me too long, and this makes the battery life be much more efficient. #solusos

Installed #solusos recently (5th time already, lol), glad to see it works perfectly again.
The only issue I have is steam games not launching or crashing, but I fixed that by using flatpak + Arch has same issues lol.
