We're hosting @BlueRidgeABC for a 7pm screening of @subMedia's InterRebellium, Part 1. It's a story told through the eyes of anarchist and anticolonial participants of the 2019 uprising in the territories occupied by the state of Chile. This 90-minute viewing will be followed by discussion.

According to subMedia: "InterRebellium will cover the global wave of revolts from 2018-2020. The title is from Latin for 'between uprisings.' We believe it is important to take this time between waves relate our experiences on a worldwide scale, to study the last one so that we are better prepared for the next one."

Uuugh I've had HBO's The Anarchists in my Hulu queue for a while now and decided to watch it after seeing a short #SubMedia video mocking it this morning.

I shut it off after about half an hour because they aren't anarchists, they're "an-caps." And a bunch of privileged, spoiled white people colonizing Acapulco and acting like a bunch of teenagers whose
parents left them home alone while they went on vacation. Fucking HBO can't even do a documentary about anarchism right.

This just in: You can't call yourself an anarchist if you're in favor of capitalism. They're mutually exclusive. Go appropriate something else and leave anarchism alone, assholes.

I'll probably go back and finish it if only for the mockery value. I just don't have the spoons at this particular moment.
