Die #Schweiz hat die erste #Photovoltaik-Anlage zwischen #Bahnschienen genehmigt, ein innovatives Projekt des Start-ups #SunWays. Das Pilotprojekt nahe Buttes nutzt den ungenutzten Raum zwischen den Schienen, um #Solarmodule zu installieren, ohne den #Zugverkehr oder Wartungsarbeiten zu beeinträchtigen. Diese Technologie könnte jährlich bis zu 1 TWh Strom produzieren und 200.000 Tonnen CO2 einsparen.

Swiss startup Sun-Ways is installing solar panels on railway tracks in Switzerland.

the entire panel-laying process has been automated by Sun-Ways, whereby a specially-built train is 'unrolling' the panels on the tracks rather than human workers doing it manually.
