Today, in 2019, a colleague asked me for assistance in setting up this configuration. We established a Proxmox-based cluster with three operational servers and three Ceph storage servers, all connected via 10 Gbit/sec networking, stored on SSDs. I didn't quite understand the urgency behind it at the time, but I trusted and respected the person who requested my help, so I went along with it.

A few months later, he left for a new job, and I ended up taking over the cluster myself. We decommissioned it a few months ago due to an office relocation, which didn't allow space for the rack. Now, all the data is hosted on external servers, migrated one VPS at a time, and transitioning from Proxmox to FreeBSD.

A rack with Dell servers in a dimly-lit room. The rack is partially filled with various devices including servers, switches, and patch panels, which are illuminated by blue and green LED lights. There are numerous cables connected to the devices, some neatly organized while others appear slightly disorganized. The room's wall is white, and there's a white door with a dark handle to the right.
