On the subject of Microsoft's quality culture, #Teams shipped dark mode support in 2023 but ¼ of the way into 2025 they still haven't figured out how to reliably tell whether it's day or nighttime.

I've had a bunch of meetings with a subcontractor in my current position. They're located somewhere else, and are sporting a somewhat charming but thick #accent. To help me out a bit, I've enabled Teams' live captioning. Either that feature is completely useless, or one of the team members is planning some sort of coup:

Heh, after some recent #Windows patches, #Microsoft #Teams isn't even able to launch automatically on startup half the time.

This is of course advanced and super-complicated feature that is not well understood yet in 21st century, I do not blame Microsoft for not getting it right. 🙄

Go to the settings (three dots left of your avatar), "Chat and channels", select "Separate".
