British textile artist Louise Goult's new exhibition "Identity" opens today at BottleWorks. The exhibition includes embroidery on fabric, paper and found items with 3D sculptural textile pieces alongside wall-based 2D work, highlighting the diversity of textile art.

Open 11:00 hrs through to 20:00 hrs every day: 23rd to 26th May 2025.

A thick-pile, woven, wall-hanging rug is hanging on a grey wall and has a raking beam of sunshine diagonally across its center. I'm busily prepping for my next show which is @peakdistrictartisans #SpringArtFair 12/13 April in Buxton. I will have new work and prints avaialble which will include a number of small #AffordableArt pieces. This is part of last years collaboration project with dark room printer Natasha Braithwaite. An experimental study of stitch on her #cyanotype - I've finally framed it!
