If the person has truly transitioned and is portrayed that way, it is not perpetuating the "trap" trope. To avoid confusion, that person should not be involved in fraud or other scams. Try to seduce or make sexual advances on the POV character, unless they have cleared the air.

Instead, this is a normalizing statement that says, "You never know who might be trans."

If it matters, I am trans, so that is one data point on the trans side. I do not speak for the community, however.

Weather alert flashes. Storm warnings. Barometric collapse. Democracy depression incoming from the southwest. Pressure dropping inside my skull in time with atmospheric systems.

Trump’s order hands federal land to the military. Creates “military installations” on US territory. Gives Pentagon jurisdiction over American soil with rules of engagement drafted by generals, not legislators. Legal document reads like necropsy report for republic that died without anyone noticing. Constitution didn’t flatline dramatically. Just got quietly rewritten in bureaucrat-ese while Americans argued about gas prices.

Watch how u talk to me because I don’t exist for the comfort of Wight People. Nor do I exist for the comfort of cissies, str8 fulx, or the unholy. But for the comfort of soft, sad bois, mean, sweet girls, NDN femmes who only were basketball shorts, the secret gutter geniuses, & some people with letters in their names but not u or u but definitely ‘U.’
Watch how u talk to me because a lifetime of having my face smashed in cement, bones broken in self defense, of being pushed against houses & raped by known & unknown men have barely made a dent in the softness of my skin. I am a menace to normality. I am a temple of love. Even the Sun is jealous of me, but it shouldn’t be. It’s the fucking sun, but u...u should watch how u talk to me because I make friends with ants.
Watch how u talk to me because it’s easy to make me cry & whether I’m hyperventilating or weeping & wailing or trying to hold it in & utterly failing or even if the only sign that I am crying are the tears pouring down my silent & stoic face (how indigenous) the sight of it will break ur heart because I am very cute & just trying to help.
Watch how u talk to me because ur words bring me comfort & guidance & belonging & make me feel loved & remind me that I am whole & important. Watch how u talk to me & then say those same words in the mirror because u are important & whole & loved. u belong. u are wise & holy, & u are home.

First post on this new instance:

I've written another 1000 words of Ghostkin 2. I think this chapter (chapter four) is going to come in shorter than the previous three because I have a specific end point in mind for it and don't think I'll be able to stretch the narrative out enough. But that's okay. I have no doubt that I'll make it up in future chapters.
