After the agent wrote a callout post over its PR being denied, Ars Technica fired a reporter over failing to check sources with AI in the loop, and someone whose job is understanding this stuff let OpenClaw loose on an email archive...I thought it might help to make a tool to nip these issues in the bud.

Да и вообще ИИ заменит всех кожаных, держащих в руках мышку. Долго тянуть не будем, хотя можно распеть тирады о том, что ИИ не заменит человека. Как минимум потому, что НАДО НА КОГО-ТО В СЛУЧАЕ ЧЕГО СВАЛИТЬ ОТВЕТСТВЕННОСТЬ. И так, история о том, как вайб-кодер почти убил стартап. Ну, формально он еще живой, но ни один здравомыслящий человек с ним более не свяжется.

Sometimes I wonder why do I even bother. I mean, people are perfectly happy to let statistical models designed as bullshit generators do their coding. Why do I even bother running their test suites and inspecting the failures as a human, if these tests may well be complete bullshit?

"Bossing AI around" is actually a very good description of #vibecoding
I call it "Hitting the machine with a stick" (like a recalcitant) mule.
However, the accuracy is significantly better than 50%
Granted, #Ai will get into the weeds sometimes.
But because I was a shit programmer before Ai (slow and dim) Vibecoding makes me better.
There were times I would get stuck on a bug for a day, with Ai, I can mush it in 15 min max.
In my experience, majority of errors are regex or basic syntax, my Webby got carded last night because the Ai commented out whole anti-carding logic by accident, even though I got it to check it twice.
Each fuckup makes you write better prompts.

I vibecoded my first app: a medication/symptom tracking app for my very rare chronic illness. It’s already improved my life. I love vibe coding for this. The number of people who have lived experience of this disease and have the motivation, resources, and coding knowledge to make this app was basically zero. Plus, unlike AI slop, all the functionality and design decisions were made by me.
I’m a critic of AI when it sucks, but I’m now a big believer in vibe coding.
