#WalkReport completed a true #lakedistrict classic today… the Fairfield Horseshoe!

Amazing weather with clear views out to the #YorkshireDales and even the Galloway Forest Park in Scotland.

You too can bag the 8 Wainwrights on this route with public transport. The 555 bus will take you to the start from #Windermere, #Keswick, #Grasmere, #Kendal or #Lancaster.

#WalkReport Amazing 17km #LakeDistrict walk with #GreatGable, Dub’s Hut #bothy and #HonisterSlateMine being highlights.

Brutal descent coming down from #GreatGable, we spent most of it on all fours looking like crabs🦀

Can you get here by public transport? You certainly can. Just take either the 77 or 78 bus from #Keswick. Currently only £2 per single ticket! 🚌

No #walkreport today, instead we’ve got some food to show you from one of our favourite Cafe stops in #leeds.

We cycled down to the North Star General Store and stuffed our faces with good #brunch and batch brew #coffee. Amazing way to refuel after the Whernside hike yesterday.

#WalkReport taking full advantage of the sunny bank holiday ☀️

18KM walk following the Dales Highway then going up Whernside via the western ridge.

Amazing views out to the Lake District and coast, we could even see Blackpool Tower!

#WalkReport no public transport today, we spent some time exploring our own backyard instead.

Despite living it a big city, feeling lucky to have pockets of nature like the Meanwood Valley Trail. You don’t need to go far to escape the hustle and bustle!

#WalkReport Stunning day on Crinkle Crags this Saturday. Cloud cover on the higher fells but amazing snowy mountain views at around ~700m.

Catch the 516 from Windermere/Ambleside to reach here by public transport!

#WalkReport the Yorkshire 3 peaks are totally doable by public transport!

What amazing weather today! We took the Leeds to Carlisle train and walked from Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Ribblehead via Ingleborough.

We also took a bit of a detour to see Gaping Gill and stopped off at the Station Inn before the train home.

#WalkReport finally had a day with no rain! Took the train the Grindleford and had a lovely 15km walk to Hathersage.

Highlights were a stone circle, Sir William Hill and a delicious coffee from Coleman’s Deli.
