$A closeup greyscale monochrome photograph of a patch of reindeer lichen. It has a coral like appearance, consisting of tubular shaped grey branches that split off each other to form a cushion like structure. The tips are split into small black-tipped ends, 5-6 at the end of each branch. On top of the topmost branches lies two large water droplets, supported by the surface tension and refracting and distorting the view through them.
