For this week's Creative Code challenge by @sableRaph: “ #Zentangles”, ConstantTangles uses #Hydravideosynth , #LiveCodeLab & #SonicPi to imagine a zentangle drawing session that focuses on one completed zentangle and the constant doodling that follows. The sounds in SonicPi are meant to follow the doodling as the drawer allows the lines to have a flow of their own.

A piece of line art done using the Zentangle practice. A black rectangular paper art tile divided along the diagonal into 2 large triangles. Each triangle is filled with smaller triangles that are filled with new patterns of circles and spirals. All the line art is done with gold metallic ink. There is white pastel chalk used for highlights, and some graphite added for texture.

A leather-cover journal opened to a mostly unused page of 5mm grid paper, opposing page is bound by two colourful clips, and has a red wavy pattern covering the whole page. The mostly unused page has, at the top, an in-progress pattern portraying tiled large and small origami paper windmills, drawn in Sailor Jentle Black ink, and with a fine-tipped Sailor 1911 Promenade. The pen used is on the right of the journal, a classic cigar shaped pen in piano black with gold bands and clip. The pen is capped.

I taught this Zendala tile to 15 students this week and we all had a blast!
