A few weeks back, I found a copy of this lens. A Tamron AF Zoom. 70-210mm and f4. Internal zoom and internal focus.

Can be switched from Single focus, to Continuous focus, or manual focus. Sounds pretty common, but wait!

It is a standalone Internal Focus mechanism with a focus confirm button, and is an Adaptall-2 base, which means it works with all kinds of old school MANUAL focus cameras!

It runs on 3 AAA batteries inside the lens.

This particular lens came with a Fujica AX bayonet adapter, for Fujica X cameras of the 1980s, not to be confused with the present day Fujifilm mirrorless X series. The Fujica X cameras followed the Fujica ST (M42) cameras from the 1970s and early 80s. You can buy an adapter to go from Fujica AX lenses to Fujifilm X cameras.

I wonder if the lens gods are shining on me today? Hoping for some usable M42 lenses from this lot!

It does however appear that the Adaptall lens is for Konica mount. Which means I need either another adaptall mount or a Konica SLR!

There's another Praktica as well, but looks like it may need some percussive maintenance.
