It outlined how one of the #AgileManifesto signatories realised after the fact (I'm paraphrasing badly here) that the manifesto was in fact a statement of #worker #rights, and they ought to have advocated better for that.
I think there was a link to an article, too.

A long standing frustration that momentarily boiled over, but...
The Agile Manifesto is not worth the screen real estate it's displayed on. It's a bunch of high-flying principles that _sound_ meaningful and momentus but give little actual guidance or functional advice. They might as well have said "Have you tried _not_ being constrained by external factors?"
It's basically a self-help book for software developers around which a cult has formed.

I'm continuing to work to improve how my teams get work done. I frequently bump into process roadblocks--not development, but meetings and tracking and estimating, and a lot of effort spent on things that are neither design nor development.

Not working software does not deliver any value for sure!
That is the idea behind this principle.
If it is broken, fix it first before doing an other work on it.
The principle does not say that working software is the only one measure. But it is the primary.

- Responsibility sharing (as in a collaborative pratnership)

Used Minecraft to introduce Agile dev to my grade 12 computer science students thanks to Scott Christianson’s overview. Was way too jam packed for the time we had, but it was a great start to the new year! We have *lots* of fodder for discussion as they put together their project plans for their capstone projects (spoiler: the customer wasn’t satisfied!)
