Photo of a trench for water pipes dug into a lawn. It runs straight away from the camera to my house. Shovel, tarpaulin with excavated dirt on it & other digging detritus kicking about. Roughly the exact same width and height (depth) of the trench is a black & white dog. He is in the trench. He has, without encouragement, prompting or bribing climbed into the trench and walked its length inspecting it carefully. I think he found it lacking in both uncovered bones or evicted rabbits so it's likely a fail.

Construction defects can significantly affect the quality, safety, and longevity of buildings, whether newly constructed or repurposed. Understanding the diagnosis and treatment of construction defects is crucial, especially when issues may manifest as water leaks, drafty windows, cracked balconies, loose flooring, or mould growth.

Bread and Butter

As much as the photography, art and film work is the fun side of drones, roof inspections are the 'bread and butter' role.

Large sites like this take roughly 3-500 images when looking at all the nooks and crannies', we work all across Cumbria and beyond on these.

_The Evening Post_, 30 June 1924:
LOCAL AND GENERAL

Allegations that building inspectors were in the habit of recommending imported plaster board in preference to locally-manufactured plaster were contained in a communication received by the Auckland City Council on Thursday evening from the Auckland Provincial Industrial Association. The City Engineer gave an emphatic denial that such was the case. He mentioned, however, that the use of fibrous plaster and plaster generally had largely increased owing to the attitude adopted by the building inspectors and himself in regard to making all internal partitions and lining fireproof as far as possible.
