I know some people might use a video camera with a CAT5/6 cable to import the RTSP video stream into OBS but theses are usually video surveillance cameras that have some limitations.
Wow that was weird;
Got some plastic ethernet heads today and when I pushed the wires through them they came out the other end.
I guess I gotta get some toenail clippers or something...never had this happen in 20 years of making ethernet cables.
Seems like it might have been an innovation...cause now the blue sheth always fit inside, but if I want to plug it in, I'll need to clip the wires off.

I just discovered a CAT5 cable in my home network.
The hard way.
"This NIC is supposed to do 2.5Gb/s, why is this file transfer only going at 100Mb/s???"
I tried bumping the speed with ethtool, but then the SSH session froze...

#HurricaneMilton becomes second-fastest storm to reach #Category5 status
#TampaBay has not been directly hit by a major hurricane since 1921.
Based upon #Atlantic basin records, Milton has tied Hurricane Maria (2017) for the second-fastest intensification from a Category 1 to #Cat5 #hurricane, taking just 18 hours. Only Hurricane Wilma (2005) did so more rapidly, in just 12 hours.

Hurricane #Milton is has done it once again, kicking up estimated wind speeds to 166mph! This makes Milton a Category 5 hurricane once again.
We cannot stress how important it is to take this storm seriously. You are running out of time to evacuate if you are in the forecasted impact areas.

this presentation by Pat Klan from Channel 11 KHOU in Houston, Texas is absolutely extraordinary. he explains clearly and succinctly why #hurricaneMilton went from #CAT1 to #CAT5 in 24 hrs. he also explains really well why the wall of water coming to #Florida will be devastating, no matter where it hits.
