It looks like I didn’t share this here: this dice reliquary design popped into my head and, I thought it would be interesting to work out the details. These are made from laser-cut walnut and maple plywood with copper and silver edging.

It turns out the laser in the studio can also cut this thicker paper-like stuff called wood. So, here is my first go at a little hardwood box with a spiral inlay. Cherry and maple. 2.5 inches square and 1.55 inches tall. Designed in Inkscape.

Oaked Crawford Brothers Honey Apple Meade with laser-etched caps! My brother and I started producing cyser from unpasteurized juice from locally-grown apples back in the 90s. Experimenting with finishing a batch made from extra juice in French oak this year.

The image of the etched caps in the jig has the added bonus of being an accidental stereogram.
