Why am I like this? Within 48 hours of recieving the device I am looking to hack my Continuious Fluclose Monitor (CGM). I am not willing to use their app on my phone so I opted for their little MP3 player looking device. They are both bluetooth which means I should be able to Man in the middle attack it and display the info on another device, right? #gcm #Diabetic #dexcom

Juchu ich muss (kann) morgen früh nicht vorm Aufstehen (zwischen 7 und 8 Uhr) zum Einklauf oder dergleichen.
DHL hat die Sendung, die für gestern angekündigt und auf heute verschoben wurde dann mal auf morgen weiter verschoben. Die senden laut Sendungsverfolgung das ganze im Verteilzentrum im Kreis.
Da die DHL-Zusteller auch gerne mal pünktlichst kurz vor 8 Uhr ankommen - ach ist das schöööön

Am 9.5. flog eine Mail rein, dass meine Sendung (2 Ersatz-Sensoren) zu mir unterwegs wäre und diese heute ankommen würde.
Sendungsnr ist bei - kann verfolgt werden.
Heute früh war die Sendung schon in die Region unterwegs, irgendwann in der Region angekommen und soll zur Zustallebasis gebracht werden.
Dann - heute nicht, erst morgen
30min später liefert DHL einen Karton - 1 Sensor mit anderer Sendungsnr
Also morgen nochmal - Lieferung und Verpackung

Well the CGM sensor I managed to get working seems to be shitting the bed already, 4 days in. I don’t remember Dexcom being this bad when I used them years ago.

This is really messing with my data that my endo monitors.

Really bad timing too.

Gonna give this a bit of time to figure itself out before deciding to ditch it. Finger sticks for now, and maybe turning off CIQ so the Mobi can keep me going.

Carefully gathered and entered a few dozen pieces of information to submit a #dexcom G7 complaint.

When it works, it usually works well, but a decent number of them fall off or malfunction, and then a complaint must be filed to receive a replacement voucher.

If you don't keep up filing the complaints, you'll reach the end of the insured supply before the end of the insurance year. Then you'll have to cough up > $85+HST for each 10-day sensor.

This is an enshittified process.

15 day Dexcom G7 is cleared by the FDA. This comes after their recent controversy of release unapproved updates to the G7 earlier this year.

I would have to guess they made some changes to make it actually last that long because... hoboy… there's a reason I "downgraded" to G6.

Page notes potential 26% failure rate.

Due to release second half 2025. Which includes potentially as late as December.

So which will come first: Libre 3 Plus working with Tandem pumps, or the G7 Ultra Max 15 Day or whatever they end up calling it?

• Dexcom: How do you know it crashed?
• Me:Well, it's no longer running and the phone has a crash log attesting of the crash…
• Dexcom: I see… Does the app display any notification when it happens?
• Me:Well, no, because it can't display a notification when it's no longer running!
• Dexcom, and what were you doing with the app when it crashed?
• Me: Well… Not much since I was sleeping

Most frustrating experience with #Dexcom Tech support. The G7 has tons of issues, but the iOS G7 app is not immune either: It's crashing alllllll the time. I've reported it, they keep on asking me the same questions over and over, have me uninstall/reinstall, ask me to call back when it happens again: I do, and we're back to uninstall reinstall, etc., I call back later, and again…
I have tons of crash logs, and no one seems interested in looking at them…
