Enter Shelby Merry's Tiger Heart. Hailing from Ohio, her music has more in common with a #Louisiana #dirge than generic #Midwest moody pop/rock.
A beat which asks you to move, a lyricism to make you think and, when you least want or expect it, a quiet, powerful void to get you used to a time when this music has to end.
This #album got me thinking, and that's Merry's M.O. in a can.
