I often miss @startmail from lists of people leaving #bigtech.
Why? As far as I can read they have a good track record, have hired the right people to setup their encryption and really seem to care about #privacy.
So for #emailhosting they look like a good choice? Perhaps a bit expensive?

Looping back to this. After some exploring, I’ve started playing with https://www.migadu.com an opinionated Swiss email hosting provider with servers in France. So far it’s working well and has an interesting billing structure that I think would work well for my needs. #email #emailHosting
So... I've had the email for my personal domains hosted with Rackspace for a decade. Turns out they no longer want to be in the hosted email business and my costs for email will triple starting in March (going from USD2.99 per mailbox per month to USD10.00 per mailbox per month).
I'm just a small fry, but even that is an obscene increase with virtually no notice.
Time to move.
Also given the state of the world, moving to a non US hosted service feels prudent.
Anyone have recommendations for a email hosting provider with non-US servers (preference given to Canadian ones actually).
