The well-off merchant family must have put down roots in China. During the Yuan Mongol reign, European missionarys and merchants travelled extensively, and the Grand canal city had a large Arab and Persian community.
I have given her her a Byzantine crucifix attached to a string of Chinese pearls. She has a contemporay European hairstyle and Chinese dress.

Today has been something of a wash out pyjama day so I decided to try making Brussels sprouts out of Fimo. Two full size, and a few in one twelfth scale. #DollsHouse #fimo #polymerclay

The real full size sprout on a cream tile with a little pile of sprouts made of Fimo in one twelfth size in from of it. A stray Fimo leaf is in the right corner.

Work in progress with a cane of Fimo brussels sprouts mix then from the back if the photos to the front: a real sprout; a Fimo full size sprout without leaves; a Fimo full-size sprout with leaves and the tiny baked sprout on one twelfth size ready for leaves. They sit on a cream tile with clay modelling tools lying around.

Kids have been creative again. Love the idea of using the bottle cap as a pie dish 😍

Hey friends, I’m so happy to share my first fully finished model!

I sculpted it with polymer clay, and I loved the freedom it gave me compared to epoxy putties (though I still used GS for some details).

Next up, it's 3d scanning so I can refine it digitally. Can’t wait to paint!

I made these little pattern weights and i'm obsessssed 🥹 I've been wanting some weights that are small, but heavy, to hold down fabrics and patterns when cutting. I've seen some weights similar to these, in a sort of pastel donut style, but wayy beyond a comfortable price for me. SO enter the biggest nuts i could find, a handful of Fimo clay and some patience. Probably haven't played with clay since early childhood and it is just as fun as i remember. LOVE the result, will be making a few more of these asap 😍

Nyeste øreringe - enhjørninge. 😃
Jeg tog lige tid i går, de tager ca 45 min at forme et par, ca en time at male og 15 minutter at sætte vedhæng på. Materialepris er 20 kr.. sølv belagte smykke dele.
Mit største problem er at prissætte de forskellige øreringe. Nu har jeg fået en lille plads i børne loppen i Odder hvor jeg vil sætte til salg.
Hvad syntes i sådan et par øreringe skal koste?
